Question of 2011, how do we pursue this promise so this becomes a reality on a consistent basis. This promise is given but just like every promise there are conditions to receiving. There is a difference between conditional love and conditional promises. He promises that if we pursue Him in specific ways, the promises will be true in our lives. We are not automatically filled with living water, we must drink and drink often. There is the gift of Holy Spirit living in us but even that gift is conditional. We have to set our hearts to the pursuit of a deeper connection with Holy Spirit in order for Him to manifest in us. The required response on our behalf is not so that there are more hoops to jump but that we will grow in love and desire for God. No longer settling for just a little flicker of God's presence, we must abandon ourselves to him fully, giving up that which cost us something. What good is a sacrifice that has no cost? The promises do not fall in our proverbial lap, we pursue them in a right way and obtain them not by striving but by obedient love. Loving words are useless unless followed by loving actions from a motivation of selflessness.
With all that said, 2011 is the year to drill deeper in the reality that we can live a life free of depression, overwhelming sadness, anger,etc. The free life has conditions which may seem like a contraindication, the real contradiction is living bound and claiming freedom.
Another question is: why do I want to be free? Most of us will need a healed view of why we even need and desire freedom. Is our desire for freedom centered on advancing the Kingdom or is it centered on a Utopian (aka Woodlands) life style. Is our desire to walk fully in the grace of God to advance His purposes or are we more concerned with finding a balance in life so we can live in "Pleasant ville".
My personal belief is that 2011 will be the most challenging year that this world has ever experienced. I do not say that in a somber tone but a sober one. Discomfort and pain are great motivators to wake us from our lethargy. As believers we have a choice, we can abandon ourselves to the Lord out of love and radical obedience or out of discomfort and pain. Sounds like an easy choice but our response to His invitations will be evidence of the choice we have made.

Clean Heart Encounter
had an intense encounter last night
Jesus and Holy Spirit came into my room and they had me under a light used in an operating room
Jesus explained that He and HS were about to preform a procedure to clean up blockage in my heart and veins
I could feel this thin wire/ tool in my veins from my legs all the way to my heart. It was cleaning the walls and lining of my veins and heart
I was so full of peace and no pain
After the procedure I was sitting with some people in a house, and in an outdoor place in the city. Every answer I gave them was scripture from memory. It was amazing
I really see that Jesus is the kindest most gentle person to ever live. I always thought His actions were kind but now I know that he is altogether kind.

Impact 2011

that the Lord will impact our lives and our city with the power of His presence through physical and emotional healings and revival in our hearts!
20 years ago Bob Jones prophesied concerning a healing revival. When He spoke of this coming revival He was in the Heights area of Houston and He prophesied that the healing revival would take place about 20 miles north of the Heights. This healing revival has not yet occurred. However, knowing the 100 year prophecy of William Seymour, the prophecy from Bob Jones, and the New Haven House of Prayer divine time clock, we believe this is the season.
Impact 2011 will be featuring special guests Wes and Carol Hall from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City.Wes and Carol Hall have been used by God over the last year to release awakening through healing, deliverance, and salvation. They were instrumental in the Student Awakening at IHOP-KC where the presence of the Lord fell and many began to testify about receiving deliverance from self-hatred, shame, and depression. Students began to experience supernatural joy at the revelation of God's love for them. The Halls have also recently traveled to Europe where unexpected numbers of people gathered from all over the continent. There attendees were hungry to receive an outpouring of God's Spirit and testimonies followed – a deaf ear opened, smoking addiction of 13 years broken, 5 year nerve damage to a woman's left hand completely healed. Healings including a man healed of 20 year sciatica pain, a drummer's right knee pain, ankles strengthened due to low arches, asthma healed, 7 years of an inflamed hip causing pain, 22 years of gall bladder pain from operation, bone spurs along a spine from spine disease disappeared – all awesome testimonies of God's healing power being released.

Disaster Preparedness Seminar

Unnamed – (dream from mid 2006)-...I saw boom and bust cycle, and the bust years were light gray to really dark gray with the light gray being the less severe, and the dark gray more severe. I could see over the past few cycles, each of the periods of bust were getting more and more severe. I saw the year 2010, that year was pitch black. Anyone who didn't prepare would lose everything, and it was so devastating, USA would never recover... and there is but one way to prepare for anything and that is to trust Jesus for everything. Harold Eatmon – (1998) I had a vision of the stock market soar and then crash. After the crash, many big business corporations and private parties bought up stocks because of the low cost to buy in. Then I saw the market begin to climb again in a short period of time. Then it crashed again bringing tremendous loss, ruin and devastation to all who bought in the first time. This is what I have labeled "Two Black Mondays" . The time period between the Two Black Mondays was very close together. I could not tell exactly how close. There are some tell tale signs indicating the season and the setting. I saw the season to be when *"the leaves fall to the ground"* then the first crash would occur."Like Joseph in Genesis, I believe America will have fat years of financial blessing. I also believe there are coming lean years of financial difficulty for America.
[My note: while this doesn't give an exact date, this prophecy was dead on accurate – the markets crashed -777 points on MONDAY 9/29/08, roughly 1 week into the FALL (leaves fall to the ground.) The markets then rebounded OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME (from April 2009 to October 2009 the markets rallied nearly 4000 points!) and everyone bought back in. According to this prophecy, the next huge crash will happen on a Monday. Eatmon even accurately predicted the coming 'fat years' and the now present 'lean years']
Garret Crawford – (5/28/09) The first thing I recall in this dream is I was lying in bed, reminiscing about a strange dream I had seen. In this dream, I had met a young, blue-haired man who was the nephew of author Tom Clancy. After getting out of bed, it had crossed my mind that I had to go over to a friend of mine's home for something and he was expecting me. I got in my car and drove over to his home; I walked up the step and opened the door. As I swung the door open, I saw two men whom I had never met before, sitting in my friend’s living room. One was a heavy-set man and the other was a younger fellow with blue hair. The blue-haired man was setting up a camera and tripod, as if he was going to film me, like in a documentary. At this point, I knew that he was in fact Tom Clancy’s nephew. I walked over to him and asked “Do you believe in prophetic dreams?” He replied with a yes. I then told him that the Lord revealed to me this morning that I would be meeting him. After this encounter I found that the two men were impressed with this miracle and that allowed me to be able to talk with them about many things. After some conversation and time had passed, one of the men, either my friend or the heavy-set companion of the nephew, said to me, “You know, I never forgot what you said about the market crashing; I still think about that.” (I guess he was referring to the dream I had about a year ago where I feel the Lord showed me two crashes of the market.) “Yesterday the market dropped like a hundred-and-something points; I think you were right on.” (I had the dream on the 28th, so if the dream was correct there should have been a loss of over 100 points on the 27th. I looked it up and found the market closed down 173 points on the 27th. So maybe this was just a sign that an all-knowing intelligence was at work in my dream.) I solemnly responded to him that that wasn‘t the crash. I told him to expect something closer to the market index crashing to 5000 (or losing 5000 points, I can’t remember exactly. I never perceived in the dream that this one-day loss of 100+ points would directly precede the greater crash, but that it would be a way down the road. I think the man's comment represents the worldly, hopeful belief that the worst is over or that only a little pain will be felt. But to the lost's surprise, the crash that is soon to come will be beyond their worst fears.)
Joseph Meyer – Forecasts on the economy. He sees the real estate market continuing to decline, and advised people to invest in precious metals and commodities, as well as keeping cash at home in a safe place in case of bank closures. The stock market, after peaking in March or April (around 10,850), will fall all the way down to somewhere between 2450 and 4125 during the next leg down.

Ni̱o Becerra (Professor of Economics) Рpredicted in July 2007 that what was going to happen was that by mid 2010 there is going to be a crisis only comparable to the one in 1929. From October 2009 to May 2010 people will begin to see things are not working out the way the government thought. In May of 2010, the crisis starts with all its force and continues and strengthens throughout 2011. He accurately predicted the current recession and market crash to the month.
Robert Holmes – On October 21, 2008 the Lord said to me (of the global economic crisis):“It will be a dead cat bounce,” meaning it will go down fast, bounce back then fall again. In April 2009, after some growth had taken place, the Lord affirmed, “Don’t get too excited about the market news, it will crash again.” In September 2009, He commented on stock market prices (as measured by the Dow Jones), “It will be a W curve”. Harry Dent (investor) – a very likely second crash by late 2010. The coming depression (starts around the summer of 2010). Dent sees the stock market--currently benefiting from upward momentum and peppier economic activity--headed for a very brief and pleasant run that could lift the Dow to the 10,700-11,500 range from its current level of about 10.090. But then, he sees the market running into a stone wall, which will be followed by a nasty stock market decline (starting in early March to late April) that could drive down the Dow later this year to 3,000-5,000, with his best guess about 3,800.
Richard Russell (Market Expert) – (from 2/3/10) says the bear market rally is in the process of breaking up and panic is on the way. He sees a full correction of the entire rise from the 2002 low of 7,286 to the bull market high of 14,164.53 set on October 9, 2007. The halfway level of retracement was 10,725. The total retracement was to 6,547.05 on March 9, 2009. He now sees the Dow falling to 7,286 and if that level does not hold, “I see it sinking to its 1980-82 area low of Dow 1,000.” The current action is the worst he has ever seen. (Bob Chapman says for Russell to make such a startling statement is unusual because he never cries wolf and is almost never wrong)
Lyndon Larouche – the crisis is accelerating and will become worse week by week until the whole system grinds into a collapse, likely sometime this year. And when it does, it will be the greatest collapse since the fall of the Roman Empire.

Eric deCarbonnel – There is no precedence for the panic and chaos that will occur in 2010. The global food supply/demand picture has NEVER been so out of balance. The 2010 food crisis will rearrange economic, financial, and political order of the world, and those who aren’t prepared will suffer terrible losses…As the dollar loses most of its value, America's savings will be wiped out. The US service economy will disintegrate as consumer spending in real terms (ie: gold or other stable currencies) drops like a rock, bringing unemployment to levels exceeding the great depression. Public health services/programs will be cut back, as individuals will have no savings/credit/income to pay for medical care.
Value of most investments will be wiped out. The US debt markets will freeze again, this time permanently. There will be no buyers except at the most drastic of firesale prices, and inflation will wipe away value before credit markets have any chance at recovery. The panic in 2010 will see the majority of derivatives end up worthless. Since global derivatives markets operate on the assumption of the continued stable value of the dollar and short term US debt, using derivatives to bet against the dollar is NOT a good idea. Deryn Johnstone – (1/25/2010) "We will experience a worldwide economic upheaval resulting in the collapse of our monetary system. Samuel Garcia – (11/04/07) Last night/this morning I had a dream that I had in two parts. The first part I awoke and asked THE LORD to give me further understanding of and then I went back to sleep and THE LORD gave me the second part of the dream. In the first part of the dream I felt like I had just left church, it being Sunday and I was headed towards the store I work in which is a check cashing store; as I approached it I noticed that it was closed and that alarmed me because it was open when I left to go to church in the morning, so that concerned me but I did not see my bosses car so I decided to call her but I got a recorded message from the operator about the phone being out of service or something like that. I also noticed that I did not see any cars driving in the streets and it seemed like it was around Christmas time; then I woke up. The second part of the dream started exactly in the same location the first part started - – in back of the store; then I walked towards the front of the store and I noticed that the store was closed again but then I looked a second time and the store had become a ONE DOLLAR BARGAIN STORE but it seemed like it had shifted. The store had shifted and it was in a location where a massage parlor currently is. So I went inside and asked what appeared to be a security guard what had happened to the people that owned the check cashing store and the guard assured me that that family was well and in good health. I did notice that inside the DOLLAR STORE the items were in a open box and low quality and they seemed to be Christmas accessories. I stepped out of the store and felt that I was in the future and it was anywhere between 2008 and 2010 and I told the guard that I was aware that I was in a dream but as I said that I felt myself leaving the dream; then I woke up. I felt that the dream basically was saying that a MAJOR economic collapse was going to happen in this country due to the fact that I did not see any cars driving in the street and that the check cashing store which requires you to have large sums of money has become a ONE DOLLAR STORE with poor quality items.

I then told him that the Lord revealed to me this morning that I would be meeting him. After this encounter I found that the two men were impressed with this miracle and that allowed me to be able to talk with them about many things. After some conversation and time had passed, one of the men, either my friend or the heavy-set companion of the nephew, said to me, “You know, I never forgot what you said about the market crashing; I still think about that.” (I guess he was referring to the dream I had about a year ago where I feel the Lord showed me two crashes of the market.) “Yesterday the market dropped like a hundred-and-something points; I think you were right on.” (I had the dream on the 28th, so if the dream was correct there should have been a loss of over 100 points on the 27th. I looked it up and found the market closed down 173 points on the 27th. So maybe this was just a sign that an all-knowing intelligence was at work in my dream.) I solemnly responded to him that that wasn‘t the crash. I told him to expect something closer to the market index crashing to 5000 (or losing 5000 points, I can’t remember exactly. He sees a full correction of the entire rise from the 2002 low of 7,286 to the bull market high of 14,164.53 set on October 9, 2007. The halfway level of retracement was 10,725. The total retracement was to 6,547.05 on March 9, 2009. He now sees the Dow falling to 7,286 and if that level does not hold, “I see it sinking to its 1980-82 area low of Dow 1,000.” The current action is the worst he has ever seen. The panic in 2010 will see the majority of derivatives end up worthless.The dollar's collapse will rob US consumers of all purchasing power, and any investment depend on US consumption will lose most of its value.

Samuel Garcia – (11/04/07) Last night/this morning I had a dream that I had in two parts. The first part I awoke and asked THE LORD to give me further understanding of and then I went back to sleep and THE LORD gave me the second part of the dream. In the first part of the dream I felt like I had just left church, it being Sunday and I was headed towards the store I work in which is a check cashing store; as I approached it I noticed that it was closed and that alarmed me because it was open when I left to go to church in the morning, so that concerned me but I did not see my bosses car so I decided to call her but I got a recorded message from the operator about the phone being out of service or something like that. I also noticed that I did not see any cars driving in the streets and it seemed like it was around Christmas time; then I woke up. The second part of the dream started exactly in the same location the first part started - – in back of the store; then I walked towards the front of the store and I noticed that the store was closed again but then I looked a second time and the store had become a ONE DOLLAR BARGAIN STORE but it seemed like it had shifted. The store had shifted and it was in a location where a massage parlor currently is. So I went inside and asked what appeared to be a security guard what had happened to the people that owned the check cashing store and the guard assured me that that family was well and in good health. I did notice that inside the DOLLAR STORE the items were in a open box and low quality and they seemed to be Christmas accessories. I stepped out of the store and felt that I was in the future and it was anywhere between 2008 and 2010 and I told the guard that I was aware that I was in a dream but as I said that I felt myself leaving the dream; then I woke up. I felt that the dream basically was saying that a MAJOR economic collapse was going to happen in this country due to the fact that I did not see any cars driving in the street and that the check cashing store which requires you to have large sums of money has become a ONE DOLLAR STORE with poor quality items.
John P. Hussman, Ph.D. – In my estimation, there is still close to an 80% probability (Bayes' Rule) that a second market plunge and economic downturn will unfold during 2010.
Robert Prechter – founder of Elliott Wave International, implores retail investors stay away from the markets… for now. Prechter, who was bullish near the lows in March 2009, now says the stock market “is in a topping area.”predicting another crash in 2010 that will bring stocks below the 2009 low. His word to the wise, “be patient, don’t rush it” keep your money in cash and cash equivalents.
Richard Mogey – current Research Director at the Foundation for the Study of Cycles – Because of a convergence of numerous cycles all at once, the stock market may go up for a little while, but will crash in 2010 and reach all-time lows late 2012. Mogey says that the 2008 crash was nothing compared to the coming crash. Gold may correct in 2009, but will go up in 2010 and peak in 2011. Silver will follow gold.
James Howard Kunstler – (January 2010) The economy as we’ve known it simply can’t go on, which James Howard Kunstler has been saying all along. The shenanigans with stimulus and bailouts will just compound the central problem with debt. There’s not much longer to go before the whole thing collapses and dies. Six Months to Live – The economy that is. Especially the part that consists of swapping paper certificates. That’s the buzz I’ve gotten the first two weeks of 2010.
Peter Schiff – (3/13/2010) "In my opinion, the market is now perfectly positioned for a massive dollar sell-off. The fundamentals for the dollar in 2010 are so much worse than they were in 2008 that it is hard to imagine a reason for people to keep buying once a modicum of political and monetary stability can be restored in Europe. In fact, the euro has recently stabilized. My gut is that the dollar sell-off will be sharp and swift. Once the dollar decisively breaks below last year's lows, many of the traders who jumped ship in the recent rally will look to re-establish their positions. This will accelerate the dollar's descent and refocus everyone's attention back on the financial train-wreck unfolding in the United States. Any doubts about the future of the U.S. dollar should be laid to rest by today's announcement that San Francisco Federal Reserve President Janet Yellen has been nominated to be Vice Chair of the Fed's Board of Governors, and thereby a voter on the interest rate-setting, seven-member Open Markets Committee. Ms. Yellen has earned a reputation for being one of the biggest inflation doves among the Fed's top players." Schiff is famous for his accurate predictions of the economic events of 2008.
Dennis Cramer – DREAMS! 2010 will be a year where ALL Believers will see a dramatic increase in the number of spiritual dreams they experience. Seventy-five percent of them will be warnings. Take heed.
Elaine Tavolacci – (January 2010) Yes things in the natural will continue to grow darker but don’t look to the media keep your eyes on Jesus. He is your source and He is your deliverer. Yes there is a changing of the guard. Some of you are confused because you have also been hearing many prophetic words from credible prophetic voices that seem to be contrary to one another. We are hearing that we are coming into a season of a great move of the Holy Spirit but we are also hearing that we are coming into the worst days in history. Who are we to believe? Both are accurate. Until Hope in ME is restored there is no hope. Only hopelessness. The greed and excess that caused Baal to fall has not yet been removed from a system with evil as it's intention. This is more than just a floating higher balloon driven by so much hot air, this is an illusion. People have become prisoners of hope. There will be one more drastic downturn soon. Efforts will be made to hold this off until after the political season. It will only make things worse. Corruption to be removed is at the heart of this judgment. Once this downturn is completed it will be a very long time until recovery can take place. Well into the decade to come. 2015. Oil prices will soar, for a short time. Gold will go up in value for a very short time, housing will not recover for a very long time, Unemployment is going to stay very high. This will be a time for you to learn to TRUST in MY provision. For some it will be ravens by the Brook. For others a cruz of oil and a little meal. Fear not. It's all part of an adjustment that must come. It will mean a currency devaluation that will stagger many. Wealth will be destroyed. It will mean that many will come to the end of themselves. True wealth will be found, and it's not in worldly systems. It's time for truth and justice to be restored. The old systems have become a false God. It was essential that this idol come down. I will have no other God's before ME. I stand above any man's market or economy. When I call a famine or prosperity I call for it and it will happen. Be certain, I will take away anything that tries to substitute itself for dependence on ME. Particularly those called by my name must repent of dependence on the world for their provision as if they have forgotten my name as Jehovah Jireh. I am the Lord your God, there is no other. There will be more change in this decade then you ever imagined. Restoration of many things. Tearing down of others. Seeming disasters beyond understanding. Amazing miracles. Discoveries. Peace. War. Resolution. Birth. Death. Pain. Joy. Challenges to everything you believe. Then affirmation of that Faith you hold so dear. You will be refined as by fire. And it has ever been thus. And will be. The end of 2010 will be the beginning of these things.

Saturday at the HOP
Saturday@theHOP is a monthly mini-conference at the House of Prayer. It takes place the first Saturday each month and offers a time of extended equipping and orientation to the New Haven Prayer Center. This month we will offer the following classes:
1. Member Orientation
Members will discover the prophetic history of New Haven and why leaders from around the city consider us a “prayer gate” of Houston. Information about the church government, great stories from the past and the vision for the future will give you a sense of belonging to an amazing “movement” of the Spirit. This class will put you in position to fulfill your destiny as God takes us on a corporate journey together. If you have never taken this class, or if it has “been a while” I encourage you to take it this month. It will create a sense of destiny within you and fan the flames of His purpose for your life into a bonfire!
2. Ministry Team Training
Altar Ministry is an application of the “One Second Principle” – God can do more in a person’s life through prayer in one second than we could in a whole lifetime of analyzing and “helping”. Altar Ministry is not counseling. Individuals come for prayer, not for us to tell them what to do. It’s not focused or dependent on the pastor, it is personal ministry carried out by the people. If you have desired to be equipped to pray with people in an effective way concerning their prayer needs this training is for you! This is an exciting ministry and a valuable training for every Christian that will prepare you to pray with individuals at the Altar, workplace, grocery store … wherever!
3. Intro to Intercessory Worship

4. The Core Values
The core values at the House of Prayer are the foundational truths that when passionately pursued sustain the believer in a lifelong quest to know the man Christ Jesus. Living these truths as a life style cause our heart to be continually fascinated with Him and create a safeguard from carnality. Each month we will explore one of 5 “Core Values”; this month, The Beauty of God. The fascinating God created us with a need to be fascinated. God's answer is the unveiling of Christ Jesus to fascinate the human spirit. Jesus will use Divine entertainment to satisfy our longings. When God reveals God to the human spirit, there is a superior pleasure to any other pleasure in life. In the romance of the gospel Jesus not only heals and forgives, but He fascinates our heart with splendor and beauty. We have a beautiful God who beckons His people to fill their lives with His Word and prayer. When marvel is restored and we live awestruck, we are spiritually strong. A fascinated man does not need pornography. A spiritually stagnant believer is vulnerable to the vices of darkness. If we live fascinated by the Lord we do not need the stuff the world offers.
You are invited on a Holy Spirit treasure hunt to search for the deep treasures of His splendor that is purposefully hidden in the heart of God. This is the most intense treasure hunt imaginable. It will continue forever. There is nothing more exhilarating than when God reveals God to the human spirit. We focus on climbing this “mountain of mystery” or entering this “vast ocean of endless beauty.” Even small tokens of the knowledge of God will capture and exhilarate the human heart in time and eternity (Is. 6:3; Rev. 4:8-11).
5. Divine Appointments Training
Divine Appointments is the name of the Healing Rooms ministry. Healing Rooms are a natural component to the House of Prayer. Healing rooms are designated rooms, in the House of Prayer, where a ministry team will pray for an individual seeking God’s intervention in their life. The team ministers the love and power of God to individuals seeking healing. The prayer team consists of believers that are trained in prayer, with a desire to see people healed and set free. Our method is to minister to seekers, as a team through prayer. This training is a prerequisite to being placed on a Divine Appointment Team.
6. Auditions
Those desiring to audition for an Intercessory Worship Team auditions begin at 1 PM. The New Haven House of Prayer is dedicated to fulfilling the 24/7 mandate by building and equipping teams of intercessors, musicians, singers, dancers and artists to fill 84 2-hour time slots throughout the week. It is the Lord’s desire to equip passionate worshipers who are engaged in sustained, enjoyable prayer. These saints come together to combine their skills and their passion for Jesus into a beautiful symphony of praise, worship and powerful intercession. If you are interested in auditioning to join one of these teams or desire to facilitate a web-streamed meeting from IHOP-KC, auditions are held the first Saturday of each month at 1PM at NHHOP. Intimacy before Impact!
Over the past few weeks I have had many conversations with men that are coming to realize that they need more time with God and to spend less time trying to fight for their right to lead. Often times I need to be reminded that I need to wait on the Lord to prepare me for the dreams that He has given me.

This was an email I sent out in August of 2007
As I read over 1 Timothy chapter 1 I began to see something that I never noticed before. We all know that a Christian’s life should reflect the gospel that we claim to live by. The thing that God showed me in 1 Timothy is just how crucial this matter is. Timothy was charged to lovingly encourage those in Ephesus to live a life that is impossible to live without walking in the Spirit of God. There is no way to live any part of the Christian life with out God.
The responsibility to share the Gospel is huge. The even bigger responsibility is to live the Gospel out. This charge is the most critical of all. I know that my heart has desired to see people saved from a life of destruction that ends in a horrible place that is beyond our imagination. I also know that the life I live doesn’t always display the Gospel the way that it should. Thank God for new understanding. Understanding that we will have very little impact on this world and the lives around us if we seek only to have knowledge about the Gospel. The impact will happen when we seek the heart of God through the continual pursuit of intimacy.

Mission Statement
Isaiah 61:1 & 3 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
In Isaiah 61, God tells us that He has sent us to bring good news to the afflicted and proclaim freedom to the captives. We believe that sickness or bondage of any kind to be an obstacle that God wants to see removed from His children. God’s desire to heal is well documented in scripture; healing is a display not only of God’s power, but His love and compassion.
Healing Rooms
Healing Rooms are a natural component to the House of Prayer Ministry. The healing rooms are designated rooms, in the House of Prayer, where a ministry team will pray for an individual seeking God’s intervention in their life. The team ministers the love and power of God to individuals seeking healing.
Everyone who has prayed for someone during ministry time has felt the pressures of time constraints. Healing Rooms are a solution to these pressures. The healing rooms provide an opportunity for concentrated personal ministry in a manner that would be difficult to provide in a corporate meeting. Through use of prayer and spiritual gifts the team is empowered by the Holy Spirit to minister the grace of healing to the seeker.
In some models each of the team members in the room have a separate function. One of the roles is to simply attend to the individual seeking ministry in very practical ways, making sure that they are comfortable as they experience the ministry in the rooms. It is important to us that people feel loved. The love of God flowing through His people is a very powerful restorative force undoing the hurts of the past that may have contributed to the individual’s situation. The healing rooms are a safe environment for ministry.
This ministry is intended to touch those outside our congregation. We all encounter individuals at work or where we live that need/desire healing prayer. As we inform these individuals about the ministry of healing rooms they can make an appointment and be insured that there is total confidentiality.
For many their conversion to Christ is connected with a demonstration of God’s power. In the midst of a crisis or sickness God will reveal His love for us through answered prayer thus, drawing us to Himself.
Divine Appointments is a group of believers that are trained, with a desire to see people healed and set free. Our method is to minister to seekers, as a team through prayer.

Discernment for the Decade - Kathy Gabler
Does God ever
send us a word that
conflicts with our
personal beliefs?
Yes. It’s not that
God is out to upset
our apple cart. It is
that He loves us too
much to let us continue
finding security
in our beliefs
that are tainted by
error, warped by
experience or hindered
by misunderstanding.
These
things will leave us
at dead ends, frustrated
and unfulfilled
at some point
in our destiny, and
He loves us too much to simply allow that.
I knew an older gentleman who was called to be an intercessor and that
calling was confirmed through a prophetic word. He had not recognized the
calling, nor could he receive the word, because of his definition of an intercessor.
His belief was that an intercessor was a person who prayed for
many hours every day. His experience indicated that was neither his lifestyle
nor his desire; so, he could not believe he could ever be an intercessor.
After a conversation with a discerning friend, he discovered intercession is
not bound to one particular lifestyle and he opened his heart to the call of
God. His misunderstanding had been keeping him from fulfillment and effectual
purpose for years. Discernment is about seeing a difference that will
make a difference. Discernment turns the light on so we can take action and
make adjustments. Wisdom would have us at least take note of contradictions
that burst into our lives to discover or discern if they are a wakeup
call from the Holy Spirit. We must live ready to believe in God more than
our beliefs if there is a show-down between the two. I believe there will be
such show-downs coming in this decade we have entered because the Kingdom,
like leaven, is spreading in the earth. God is moving forward in the
already written history of His people, building His church and maturing His
sons. When these confrontations come, we have three major resources to

set and confirm our course: the Word, godly counsel and discernment.
There are five different words translated “discern or discernment” in the Old
Testament. Their meanings include to scrutinize or look intently at so as to recognize
what is going on, an experienced gaze, to hear intelligently, to separate mentally
(or distinguish), to be cunning, to diligently direct, to feel, to know by seeing,
to perceive or to discover. Discernment by dictionary definition means to separate
or distinguish, to see or understand the difference or to make a distinction. In 1
Cor 12, another dimension is added to the meaning of discernment. In this setting,
discernment means to judge the purity of something, as in “to detect any mixture in
its source or motive.” When discernment comes as a gift from God, as in 1 Cor
12:10, it is God enabling us to separate or distinguish the difference between the
human soul and the supernatural at work. This discernment gift includes understanding
the mental disposition of someone. It also enables us to see the distinct
differences between the Holy Spirit and angels or demons at work in a situation.
Discernment, whether it is a keenness developed through experience or a gift of
the Spirit of God, is an awesome weapon that is both a beneficial and essential
resource for the days ahead.
DISCERNING OBEDIENCE:
I sat at lunch with a friend who is a real trooper in the trenches. As I listened
to her heart after God, the thought came to me, ‘The only thing that can stop her
from getting to God’s intentions would be getting worn out on the way.’ I made a
decree over her, “This year, you will be quick to discern the difference between
obligation and obedience.” The enemy cunningly lays snares for a compassionate
heart to distract them by the needs of others while they’re on the way to a Godmandate.
If distraction can deplete our energy, hell can hinder the purpose and
timing of God. We must be wise this year and budget our efforts as diligently as
our pocket books.
DISCERNING OBLIGATION:
Obligation is the binding power of a promise, a vow, a contract or a law, but it
is also the binding force of civility and kindness. That makes obligation a strategic
weapon against Christians. I stood on the sidewalk waiting for Marty. I had leftover
donuts in a box under my arm. A homeless woman was walking toward me.
Kindness immediately bid me to give them to her, yet I felt a check in my spirit. I
learned later that while it would have been a kindness, it would not have been wisdom.
There was a ministry for the homeless in that very block that met their needs
on a daily basis. There were signs setting the order of how and when such ministry
was appropriate. The order was for protection of the homeless so they would

set order, which would eventually disqualify her for the ministry that sustained her
there.
Jesus exemplified that His first obligation was obedience to the will of the
Father. Opinions, emotions, traditions and minions can quickly bind Christians
with a sense of obligation that has nothing to do with obedience or the order God
can bless. A vivid example of this in my mind is how often I’ve seen Christians

feel obligated to tolerate all behaviors, without confrontation or rebuttal. I’m not
sure how the mindset developed that being non-confrontational is being holy, but
there are no rewards for stupid in the Bible. Jesus did not tolerate the attitudes or
arguments of the Pharisees. He spoke very directly and at times did not even
bother with diplomacy. If tolerance is an obligation that is not first based in timely
obedience to God, it is more likely coming from guilt or self-righteousness. At
that point, toleration falls into the category of good works and is an attempt to
sanctify our own soul. Of course, neither tolerance nor any other good work can
cleanse the soul if it is not obedience (1Peter 1:22). As Jesus demonstrated, a mature
son lives his days discerning the Father’s heart and keeping obedience in priority
to any other assumed or imposed obligation.
Habits and traditions can become obligations that override obedience. Habits
become a norm and are not questioned because they’ve simply never been questioned
before. To question them after 50 years can seem like blasphemy. The
problem is that habits and traditions often get convoluted after years of being filtered
and adjusted to peoples’ opinions and preferences. That is why the lack of
sugar one Christmas long ago can leave a family with an annual tradition of tasteless
pudding. The only dessert possible in that year of struggle had no taste or
merit other than tradition in the long run! If we do not keep God’s instruction in
higher priority than tradition, we will end up with lifeless customs, no passion and
no place, time or energy for obedience. Without timely obedience, we also lose the
power of His presence and the impact of His will being done in earth as in heaven.
Assumed obligation can be dangerous. Wrongly assumed obligation is the
root source of anger against God. History has revealed a pattern of men blaming
God when they are hurting or disillusioned. Anyone who is angry because God
did not come through for them quite simply assumed God was obligated where He
was not. It is impossible for God not to come through because He is faithful, but
we must understand that He is faithful first to Himself, His word, His character,
His plan and His covenant. People who do not bother to understand the principles
of His word, character and covenants do not know the boundaries He has set nor
the order that is crucial. People think God is obligated to meet their emergencies
because they presume His mercy will automatically outweigh dysfunction and
disorder and disobedience. That has never been and will never be the case. When
a situation screams failure (if we even make that call correctly) it is on the earthly
end. Without discernment, without distinguishing the difference, people make
choices that position them outside of God’s will and blessing. Generations establish
beliefs and lifestyles that God does not sanction and then blame God when
their legacy is cursed. If a man tries to obligate God outside of God’s principles
and then calls God to judgment with his anger, that man is not only refusing to
repent, he is actually demanding that God repent and change His ways. That is
audacious, but man’s audacity will never move God, only man’s repentance moves
the heart of God. God is God and His ways are above ours; neither demanding
accusation nor hardship nor emotional blackmail nor rage will change them.
DISCERNMENT and WISDOM
In the decade ahead, we will need an arsenal with these two major, non-carnal

weapons: discernment and wisdom. Discernment will reveal the truth that exposes
distraction and deceit, and wisdom will instruct us as to how to walk out the truth
revealed. May we wield this dynamic duo with precision and bring glory to our
God!

Yes. It’s not that
God is out to upset
our apple cart. It is
that He loves us too
much to let us continue
finding security
in our beliefs
that are tainted by
error, warped by
experience or hindered
by misunderstanding.
These
things will leave us
at dead ends, frustrated
and unfulfilled
at some point
in our destiny, and
He loves us too much to simply allow that.
I knew an older gentleman who was called to be an intercessor and that
calling was confirmed through a prophetic word. He had not recognized the
calling, nor could he receive the word, because of his definition of an intercessor.
His belief was that an intercessor was a person who prayed for
many hours every day. His experience indicated that was neither his lifestyle
nor his desire; so, he could not believe he could ever be an intercessor.
After a conversation with a discerning friend, he discovered intercession is
not bound to one particular lifestyle and he opened his heart to the call of
God. His misunderstanding had been keeping him from fulfillment and effectual
purpose for years. Discernment is about seeing a difference that will
make a difference. Discernment turns the light on so we can take action and
make adjustments. Wisdom would have us at least take note of contradictions
that burst into our lives to discover or discern if they are a wakeup
call from the Holy Spirit. We must live ready to believe in God more than
our beliefs if there is a show-down between the two. I believe there will be
such show-downs coming in this decade we have entered because the Kingdom,
like leaven, is spreading in the earth. God is moving forward in the
already written history of His people, building His church and maturing His
sons. When these confrontations come, we have three major resources to

set and confirm our course: the Word, godly counsel and discernment.
There are five different words translated “discern or discernment” in the Old
Testament. Their meanings include to scrutinize or look intently at so as to recognize
what is going on, an experienced gaze, to hear intelligently, to separate mentally
(or distinguish), to be cunning, to diligently direct, to feel, to know by seeing,
to perceive or to discover. Discernment by dictionary definition means to separate
or distinguish, to see or understand the difference or to make a distinction. In 1
Cor 12, another dimension is added to the meaning of discernment. In this setting,
discernment means to judge the purity of something, as in “to detect any mixture in
its source or motive.” When discernment comes as a gift from God, as in 1 Cor
12:10, it is God enabling us to separate or distinguish the difference between the
human soul and the supernatural at work. This discernment gift includes understanding
the mental disposition of someone. It also enables us to see the distinct
differences between the Holy Spirit and angels or demons at work in a situation.
Discernment, whether it is a keenness developed through experience or a gift of
the Spirit of God, is an awesome weapon that is both a beneficial and essential
resource for the days ahead.
DISCERNING OBEDIENCE:
I sat at lunch with a friend who is a real trooper in the trenches. As I listened
to her heart after God, the thought came to me, ‘The only thing that can stop her
from getting to God’s intentions would be getting worn out on the way.’ I made a
decree over her, “This year, you will be quick to discern the difference between
obligation and obedience.” The enemy cunningly lays snares for a compassionate
heart to distract them by the needs of others while they’re on the way to a Godmandate.
If distraction can deplete our energy, hell can hinder the purpose and
timing of God. We must be wise this year and budget our efforts as diligently as
our pocket books.
DISCERNING OBLIGATION:
Obligation is the binding power of a promise, a vow, a contract or a law, but it
is also the binding force of civility and kindness. That makes obligation a strategic
weapon against Christians. I stood on the sidewalk waiting for Marty. I had leftover
donuts in a box under my arm. A homeless woman was walking toward me.
Kindness immediately bid me to give them to her, yet I felt a check in my spirit. I
learned later that while it would have been a kindness, it would not have been wisdom.
There was a ministry for the homeless in that very block that met their needs
on a daily basis. There were signs setting the order of how and when such ministry
was appropriate. The order was for protection of the homeless so they would
not break city rules. I would have been encouraging that woman to get out of the

The Crucible Project
I have just returned from a weekend with the Crucible Project. I have never see transformation in the hearts of men like I did this weekend. I have heard countless stories of people being set free, delivered, and restored. I have been around / involved in very powerful ministries but I have never been apart of anything like this. For the first time I really feel like a new creation. I witnessed 20 lives experience a face to face encounter with their loving creator. The TRUTH has set us free. I can not express my gratitude and respect for all the men that where with me this weekend, it takes great courage to allow the Lord do such a deep work. I do not publicly support many ministries but I know that this ministry is one that is crucially needed in this hour of human history.

Houston We Have A Problem
The Second largest abortion clinic in the world is being built at this present moment in Houston, Texas. This six-story Planned Parenthood abortion “super center” is right in the middle of four (4) “super neighborhoods.” Three average to 85% Latino in population and the other is 85% African American. Planned Parenthood is targeting these minority pro-family communities, both for their finances and the restriction of their populations. But, there is a voice rising out of Houston and out of Texas, declaring, “We don’t want this death camp specializing in late-term abortions in our neighborhoods!”
On Martin Luther King Jr.’s holiday, January 18th, 2010, thousands are gathering to march against this Goliath to pray, fast, and peacefully siege this massive injustice in the spirit of that great liberator Martin Luther King Jr. Key African American, Latino, and political leaders are coming to speak and hold a nationwide press conference challenging this “super center.” This is a great hour for the Hispanic pro-LIFE people, Catholic and Evangelical, to raise their voices against abortion and for adoption. Public opinion over abortion is shifting radically in America to pro-LIFE at the same time this facility is exalting itself above the humble and oppressed.
We are entering into the 37th anniversary of the “Roe V. Wade” abortion decree of 1973 on January 22, 2010. We are in a ’73/’37 window to reverse that decree. It started in Texas, now let it begin to reverse there. We are calling for the pro-LIFE people of Houston, Texas, and America to gather Sunday night, January 17th, 2010 for four (4) hours of prayer for spiritual awakening and justice, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Grace Community Church. On this evening, 1/17, we will be unifying with one voice before God to pray for the Luke 1:17 answer to the killing of our babies and the wounding of our women – “And he will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the rebellious to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
On January 18th, at 9:00am on Martin Luther King Jr.’s holiday, we will gather by the thousands to launch a silent prayer march through the streets to the abortion “super center” for the nationwide press conference and prayer stand. As Martin Luther King Jr. would proclaim it – It is time to “subpoena the conscience” of the nation from the flashpoint of Houston, Texas. Maybe Houston could become the Birmingham of our day to let the unborn go free and spare the pregnant mother the agony of guilt. Maybe out of Houston a great demonstration of compassion could be launched through pregnant mother care with a mass movement of adoption. Martin Luther King Jr. cried, “I have a dream”. Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., has eloquently stated, “How can the dream live as long as we kill our children?” God has a dream. He has a dream for America and He has a dream for every mother and every child and a six-story massive abortion facility has never been a part of that dream. Lets end the nightmare and let the dream live.
