The Crucible Project

I have just returned from a weekend with the Crucible Project. I have never see transformation in the hearts of men like I did this weekend. I have heard countless stories of people being set free, delivered, and restored. I have been around / involved in very powerful ministries but I have never been apart of anything like this. For the first time I really feel like a new creation. I witnessed 20 lives experience a face to face encounter with their loving creator. The TRUTH has set us free. I can not express my gratitude and respect for all the men that where with me this weekend, it takes great courage to allow the Lord do such a deep work. I do not publicly support many ministries but I know that this ministry is one that is crucially needed in this hour of human history.

Dare to Soar Weekend, a retreat for men of faith who hunger to live more passionate, powerful lives in which they fulfill the purpose for which God made them. And we are committed to coming alongside the church to help build up God’s men to live dangerous lives, like Jesus – lives of radical honesty, scandalous grace and courageous strength.

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, [a]

2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.

  1. So glad to hear you got so much from this weekend! I attended one last year and had a very similar experience. I don't think I have ever seen God work like I have on that weekend. Thanks for posting!

  3. Did you read your Bible on this weekend? Or did you merely release your animal spirit, get blind folded, and yell at other men. Cuz that's all we did.

  4. Reading our bible is a critical part of our journey in God. I also believe that God gives ideas, illustrations and activities to help demonstrate who He is and to reveal where are deepest fears are regarding all of life. The Crucible Project is not a bible study for certain. Then again they never claimed to be inviting us to an in depth study of The Word. I look at my weekend at The Crucible Project like this:
I voluntarily put myself in a place of the unknown and when I realized I had no control over the events that were taking place, I saw just how much I needed to trust God with the pain and fears that came to the surface while I was under pressure. The weekend was like a greenhouse for quick revelation and healing. The approach is unorthodox but I think it is critical for a lot of men that claim to be believers. Most of us confess our faith but live like atheist. We never get below the surface and live in a numb state. All I know is I recognize my need for God in a much more profound way after my weekend at The Crucible Project.
